IPIMS Provides Two Levels of Learning

IPIMS provides two levels of Learning: Background Learning with which Users gain knowledge, skills and procedural acumen and Action Learning with which they Master practical applications through real-life assignments.

The figure below illustrates how Background and Action Learning work together to help learners achieve the "Skilled Application" level in a typical competency model.
